Wrong job for a tool. But a fun one.

There are many ways to get a product tested during release. The place I am working at historically has an interesting approach to this. Every release, on top of "normal" product testing, an engineer becomes a product user and tries to accomplish something with it. Our product is intended for creating interactive learning courses, so there are ways to make elaborate object interactions, handle user input, etc.

So every release, some folks create educational and fun courses, and some create interactive "games." I am with the latter 😀

Due to the nature of the product, there is a certain limit to what you can do in Storyline. Still, the possibilities are huge with support for shapes, image shapes, 360° images, motion paths, variables, triggers, overlap detection, custom JavaScript, etc.

To give you an idea of what you can do with it, just take a look at those two projects:

And here is how it looks in Storyline:

Of course, they are not "real" games. But I had fun making them so I will make more!
